Read the story before anyone else does.

If you love LGBTQ+ young adult and new adult fiction — the kind with found family, first love, and characters who feel like they've stepped out of your own life — I'd love for you to be one of the first people to read mine.

I'm Sam, the author behind The Wholespire. Every book I write carries the same thread: accept who you are, make room for others, you matter — exactly as you are. If that's the kind of story you go looking for, this is for you.

What is an ARC?

An ARC (Advance Reader Copy) is a free early copy of a book, given to readers ahead of its official release date in exchange for an honest review once it publishes. It's how new voices in queer YA and NA fiction get discovered — through real readers, sharing real reactions, before launch day.

What I'm Looking For

I'm building a small, genuine ARC team for my upcoming releases — coming-of-age romance, found-family stories, and queer YA fiction with real emotional stakes. You might be a great fit if you:

  • Regularly read or review YA/NA romance, LGBTQ+ fiction, or queer coming-of-age stories
  • Post on Goodreads, BookTok, Bookstagram, or a blog — or simply love leaving thoughtful reviews
  • Can commit to reading and reviewing by an agreed date around each release
  • Want to support an independent author building something small and heartfelt

You don't need a huge following. I'm looking for readers who genuinely connect with these stories, not follower counts.

What You'll Get
  • Free early access to the ebook, ahead of general release
  • First look at upcoming titles, including cover reveals and behind-the-scenes updates
  • A personal thank-you and, where it fits, a mention in the book's acknowledgements
  • A direct line to me as new books come together — your feedback shapes what I write next
Current & Upcoming Titles
  • If Tomorrow Does Not Wait — releasing 11th December 2026.
  • What Remains: Book One — releasing 15th January 2027.
  • The Boys Who Broke the Script — releasing 19th February 2027.

Each is LGBTQ+ YA or NA fiction — coming-of-age, romance, and drama, always with queer characters at the centre, never the subplot.

How It Works
  1. Fill out the short application below, including which title(s) you're interested in
  2. I'll reach out with your ARC copy and a suggested review deadline
  3. Read at your own pace, then leave an honest review on Amazon and/or Goodreads once the book is live

Reviews don't need to be positive to help — they need to be honest.
